Tracey Whitcomb
Hi, I’m Tracey.
I am a native Santa Cruzan and am honored to have spent my formative as well as adult years growing up and living in such a unique and remarkable community as this one. I have always felt an empathic connection to nature and animals in particular, and knew I would dedicate my life to them in some way. I received a degree in Animal Health Technology in 1999, and have worked as a Veterinary Technician for the past 20 years. I am proud to have participated in providing health care, rescuing, and saving the lives of a multitude of animals over the years. I have benefited as much as the patients, being lucky enough to be immersed in the lives of so many creatures through my work. As much as veterinary medicine has been a fascinating experience, I have reached a stage where I now wish to have all uplifting moments in my work with pets. I find walking with and home care for them provides this experience and is a refreshingly new horizon for me in pet care. Aside from work, I enjoy Horseback riding, painting, horticulture, reading, Tarot and meditation. My dog companion Dylan is my Right Hand Man, my Witch’s Familiar, my Chihuahua Son. I’m grateful for the opportunity to enrich the lives of dogs, as well as my own, by walking with them.
